The threat actors behind the[Medusa ransomware](https://www.linkedin.com/redir/redirect?url=https%3A%2F%2Fthehackernews%2Ecom%2F2024%2F01%2Fmedusa-ransomware-on-rise-from-data%2Ehtml&urlhash=iWPk&trk=article-ssr-frontend-pulse_little-text-block)have claimed nearly 400 victims since it first emerged in January 2023, with the financially motivated attacks witnessing a 42% increase between 2023 and 2024.
